La
passione gioca brutti scherzi...
Prendete questo manuale, per esempio. Era nato come un semplice
catalogo ed elenco di componenti, ma si è andato via via
trasformando in una dichiarazione di passione per il Marchio Ducati.
Durante la compilazione si è fatto il desiderio di condividere
con tanti appassionati l’esperienza maturata in tanti anni
vissuti a stretto contatto con i protagonisti che hanno fatto grande
Borgo Panigale. L’ing. Taglioni, innanzi tutto, ma anche Farnè,
Smart, Spaggiari, Nepoti, Caracchi, Pedretti, Mattioli, Nanni, Grimaldi,
Marianini, Leoni per le corse USA e tanti altri, ognuno di loro
mi ha saputo regalare non solo tanti preziosi consigli, ma anche
comunicare l’enorme passione per il Marchio bolognese. E così
è nato il manuale, con l’intenzione di far conoscere
ed aprezzare i prodotti Ducati così come ho imparato ad apprezzarli
negli anni passati. Qui troverete tutte le più importanti
caratteristiche dei modelli Ducati che hanno fatto la storia: dai
monocilindrici Desmo alla 750 GT-S, dalla 750 SS alla 900 SS e MHR
900-1000. Per questa realizzazione sono debitore ai tanti che hanno
collaborato per la sua stesura, innanzi tutto i miei figli, ma anche
tanti amici che hanno offerto il loro aiuto. La mia passione per
la Ducati è di lunga data, ed è cominciata quando
ancora pochi si occupavano del Marchio bolognese. Oggi che è in auge, mi fa piacere condividere con tanti altri appassionati
questa realizzazione. Spero che sfogliandola abbiano lo stesso piacere
che ho provato io a scriverla.

Take this manual as an example. It was born as a simple parts catalogue
but it has changed to a true declaration of passion for the Ducati
trade Mark. During the compilation the desire of sharing with many
enthusiastic people the experience gained in so many years in close
contact with those who made Borgo Panigale famous has come true.
Ing. Taglioni, first of all, but also Farnè, Smart, Spaggiari,
Nepoti, Caracchi, Pedretti, Mattioli, Nanni, Grimaldi, Marianini,
Leoni and many others. They gave me, not only many useful advises,
but they communicate me their great passion for the Bologna’s
Mark. That’s why this manual is born, with the intention of
letting people know and appreciate the Ducati products as I did
in past years. You will here find the most important characteristics
of all Ducati models who made the “history”: from the
singles Desmo to the 750 GT-S , from the 750 SS to the 900 SS and
900-1000 MHR. My deepest thanks go to all those who have helped
me in editing this manual, first of all, my son and daughter, and
all those friends who have given me their help. My passion for the
Ducati has started long time ago when a few people knew and were
interested in the Bologna’s Mark. Today that Ducati is at
the top I like to share with many enthusiasts this realization.
I hope that by reading it you will find the same pleasure I found
in editing it.

La passion joue parfois de mauvais tours...
Prenez ce manuel par exemple. Il a été conçu
comme un simple catalogue, une simple liste de composants, mais
au fur et à mesure, il est devenu le symbole d’une
passion déclarée pour la Marque Ducati. Pendant que
nous le rédigions, nous avons voulu partager avec tant de
“mordus”, l’expérience acquise en tant
d’années vécues coude à coude avec les
protagonistes qui ont fait la force de Borgo Panigale. Avant tout,
M. Taglioni, mais aussi des gens comme Farnè, Smart, Spaggiari,
Nepoti, Caracchi, Pedretti, Mattioli, Nanni, Grimaldi, Marianini,
Leoni pour les courses aux Etats-Unis et tant d’autres, chacun
d’eux a su m’offrir non seulement tant de précieux
conseils, mais aussi me communiquer la passion démesurée
pour la Marque bolonaise. C’est ainsi qu’est né
le manuel, dans l’intention de faire connaître et apprécier
les produits Ducati, tout comme j’ai appris moi même
à la faire ces années durant. Vous y trouverez les
caractéristiques les plus importantes des modèles
Ducati qui ont forgé l’histoire: de la 250 Desmo à
la 750 GT -S, en passant par la 750 SS jusqu’à la 900
SS-MHR 1000. Pour cette réalisation, je me dois de remercier
tous ceux qui ont collaboré à sa rédaction:
avant tout, mes enfants, mais aussi de nombreux amis qui m’ont
donné leur aide. Ma passion pour Ducati remonte très
loin, alors que bien peu encore s’occupaient de la Marque
bolonaise. Aujourd’hui, qu’elle est à son apogée,
je suis heureux de partager cette réalisation avec tant d’autres
passionnés. J’espère qu’en feuilletant
le manuel, ils auront le même plaisir que j’ai éprouvé
en l’écrivant. |

Leidenschaft führt in Versuchung...
Nehmen Sie zum Beispiel dieses Handbuch. Es ist als einfacher Katalog
und als Komponentenverzeichnis entstanden und wurde im Laufe der
Zeit zu einer Erklärung der Leidenschaft für die Marke
Ducati. Bei der Zusammenstellung kam der Wunsch in mir auf, meine
im Laufe der Jahre des engen Kontakts mit den Protagonisten, die
Borgo Panigale zu dem gemacht haben, was es heute ist, gesammelte
Erfahrung mit anderen Ducati-Besessenen zu teilen. Insbesondere
Ing. Taglioni, doch auch Farnè, Smart, Spaggiari, Nepoti,
Caracchi, Pedretti, Mattioli, Nanni, Grimaldi, Marianini, Leoni
für die Rennen in den USA und viele andere, alle haben mir
nicht nur mit vielen wertvollen Ratschlägen geholfen, sondern
haben mir auch die enorme Begeisterung für die Marke aus Bologna
übermittelt. Und so ist dieses Handbuch entstanden, damit alle
die Ducati-Produkte kennenlernen und sich für diese begeistern
können, so wie ich im Laufe der Jahre gelernt habe, mich für
diese zu begeistern. In diesem Handbuch sind alle wichtigen Eigenschaften
der Ducati-Modelle, die Geschichte gemacht haben, aufgeführt:
von dem Modell 250 Desmo bis zum 750 GT-S, von 750 SS bis 900 SS
MHR 1000. Bei der Zusammenstellung dieses Handbuchs haben mir viele
Personen geholfen, darunter hauptsächlich meine Kinder, aber
auch viele Freunde. Meine Leidenschaft für die Ducati hat vor
langer Zeit begonnen, als sich nur wenige für die Marke aus
Bologna interessierten. Heute ist Ducati in Mode, und ich freue
mich, dieses Handbuch und meine Leidenschaft mit anderen zu teilen.
Ich hoffe, daß das Lesen genau so viel Freude machen wird,
wie das Schreiben. |
